A mixed-media artist & designer interested in how perception, technology and behavior alter experience. Much of my work is influenced by aquatic, forest, & subterranean biomes, with their inhabitants displaying a wide-variety of form & function. These environments express relatively self-contained systems & are virtually impossible to observe without entirely submerging oneself within the ecosystem. While experiencing nature as a system under these circumstances, an individual is beholden to & an extension of the natural order. The transition from an artificial environment to a natural environment becomes a further point of interest, with many projects mimicking themes of environmental design or in the simulation of organisms. From here my work diverges:

Squares, Play, & Atmosphere are all important intersections between the works. Squares can be found everywhere in representation. Play is important to my discipline; I take fun very seriously. Atmosphere or ambiance is a continuous support structure for experimentation in the creative process & for creating impressionable interactions; In this way, Ambiance/Atmosphere acts as a meeting point for perception & spatial awareness. With luck, atmosphere can cultivate sensation & interaction, in turn fostering a unique experience for somebodies' interpretation.
